Educational Qualifications:
Secondary Grade Teacher -> Matric with +2 (HSC passed) completed Secondary Grade Teacher Training from a recognized institution (Diploma in Teacher Education/ Diploma in Elementary Education) and passed in TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) conducted by appropriate Govt.
Storekeeper -> Matric with +2 (Higher Secondary) Passed with Typewriting lower grade in English.
Safaiwala / Cleaner -> Able to read and write in Tamil.
Application Fee: ? 200/- through Demand Draft (DD) issued by any Nationalised Bank drawn in favour of the "Chief Executive Officer, Cantonment Board, St. Thomas Mount" & payable at Chennai, which should be enclosed with the application form. The candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ differently abled are exempted from payment of fee.
Selection Process: Written Test/ Skill Test/ Physical Test.
(a) For Secondary Grade Teacher Post -> the selection is based on Written Test only.
(b) For Store Keeper Post -> the selection is based on written test and typing test, which will be of qualifying in nature.
(c) Safaiwala and Cleaner -> the selection is based on reading and writing ability in Tamil, Physical and Skill test.

Upper Age Limit (as on 20.07.2016): 25 Years for Un-Reserved (UR); 28 Years for OBC; 30 Years for SC. For all the above post the upper age limit for Differently abled candidate is 35 years for UR, 38 years for OBC, 40 years for SC & ST. Minimum age for all the above posts is 18 years. No age relaxation is given for OBC, SC/ST applying for Un Reserved (UR) posts.
Essential Educational Qualification:
Assistant Programmer -> Must possess a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronics/ Electrical/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or Master of Science Degree in Computer Science or Master Degree in Computer applications and must have experience for a period of not less than 1 year through work and direct involvement in or more facts of analysis, accounting operation testing, information system data processing teaching or research.
LDC -> Matric with +2 (HSC) Passed with Typewriting lower grade in English.
Wireman -> SSLC Pass / Fail Successfully completed the ITI in the trade of Wireman or Electrician certificate recognized by the state Government.
Electrical Helper -> VIIIth Standard Pass and knowledge of Electricity is Essential.
Health Inspector -> Matric with +2 (Higher Secondary, Science group) with sanitary Inspectors Course Certificate or equivalent recognized by the Director of Public Health & Preventive Medicine.
Storekeeper -> Matric with +2 (Higher Secondary), Passed in Govt. Technical Examinations in Book Keeping with Typewriting lower grade in English.
Office Assistant -> VIIIth Standard passed and must be able to cycle.
Latchi -> VIIIth Std passed and ability to read and write in Tamil.
Gangman -> VIIIth Std passed, Experience in Gang work i.e., building or earth work is essential.
Valveman -> VIIIth Std Passed.
